Distance Learning Systems Expands Online Learning Program with American Public University System Partnership

Indianapolis, IN – January 8, 2020Distance Learning Systems (DLSII) has partnered with American Public University System (APUS) to provide DLSII students with increased flexibility and affordability throughout the general education portion of their degree program. DLSII students will complete multiple American Council on Education-approved, college-level course credits transferrable into both American Public University or American Military University which will be applied to their degree program of choice. 

“Education is vital for success in today’s employment market, and we provide an online learning program that enhances and supports the educational goals of every student,” said Dave Christy, president of Distance Learning Systems. “Our APUS partnership enables our students to earn college credits in an accelerated, cost-effective environment while staying current with industry standards within their field of study.” 

Through the partnership, Distance Learning Systems’ students will have access to over 200 online degree and certificate programs in addition to robust transfer credit and prior learning assessment programs. Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, APUS also holds specialized accreditation in various areas such as business, nursing, and public health. In addition, APUS offers student-centered services such as career & advising services, mentoring programs, virtual communities, and more to support every student through graduation.
