Lindsey Larson Headshot

Ms. Lindsey Larson serves as Vice President & Chief of Staff in the Office of the President. She joined APUS in 2012 and has worked in various roles of increasing responsibility across the University.

Among her accomplishments, she implemented a transformative communication process within Academics, significantly improving process transparency and decision making. In addition, throughout her tenure, Lindsey has led efforts for academic capitalized labor, assisted with a redesign of the faculty performance management processes, rank advancement, as well as transfer friendly initiatives. She holds a demonstrated focus on student success and a dedication to the development of process cohesiveness, refinement, communication planning, and university operation management.

Ms. Larson has achieved several milestones throughout her career, including leading a high-performing staff and managing an annual faculty and staff recognition event, as well as partnering cross-functions to bring the APUS employee values (#APUSVibes) to life. She spearheads a transparent process for executive communications, leads efforts for academic capitalized labor, and has helped with a redesign of the faculty performance management processes, rank advancement, and transfer friendly initiatives.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Larson served as the Associate Vice President for Academic Operations at APUS. Before that, she was Director of Academic Affairs within the Office of the Provost. She also worked on a team within Enrollment Management earlier in her career.

Ms. Larson has a passion for the University’s mission and the students we serve, evidenced by the fact that she was a 2022 recipient of the Excellence in Service Award, and a 2024 recipient of the President’s Award.
